Camp – Years 4 to 6

In the last week of Term 3 on Wednesday 18 September, the Upper Primary team (Years 4 to 6) departed Sirius College for a memorable camp at the ADANAC campsite. This three-day and two-night camp provided our students with a positive educational experience, in which they have developed social and personal skills. Throughout the program students participated in eight different activities including the fun activities at night. Students were challenged over the three days by participating in many tasks ranging from canoeing, flying fox, camp cooking, low ropes, hut building, disc golf, thunder hockey and bushwalking.

Apart from these activities, students were able to go on the trampoline, play billiards, and have a movie night and more. Students took responsibility for cleaning their rooms, setting up tables and being on time.

Also, the following lovely students celebrated their birthdays at the campsite: Reyan Baig, Zoha Azmi and Ahsan Zia. They enjoyed a special cupcake that was provided by the campsite.

It sure was a FUNNNN camp. We all enjoyed ourselves with many memories formed, and leadership skills were developed during our time at camp.

Year 6 Graduation

What a night it was! It is certainly a night that we will remember for the rest of our lives. On Thursday, 5 December we all witnessed how the Year 6 students have grown into tremendous leaders. On behalf of all Sirius College primary teachers, I would like to wish you all the success in your secondary academic life. I know that each and every one of you is going to be successful. Always follow your passion and never give up.

I want to thank all our guests who attended the Year 6 graduation dinner. I would also like to extend my thanks to all our Year 6 teachers and Upper Primary Coordinator for their ongoing support throughout the year. We are very fortunate to have an excellent team. I look forward to working with you all next year.

Kindest Regards,
Ms Ozlem Coskun
Primary Coordinator
